Oil Minister Ali Al-Naimi said Saudi Arabia was producing crude near record levels in April, highlighting the kingdom’s determination to protect its market share during a fragile recovery in oil markets.
Al-Naimi said Saudi oil production was around 10 million barrels per day in April. In an interview in the South Korean capital, where he was scheduled to attend a Saudi Aramco board meeting, he added: “I have said many times that we are always happy to supply our customers with what they want. Right now, they want 10 million.”
