God Almighty says: “Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.”
I have reflected on well-known Western figures whom God guided to Islam and found remarkable reasons for their conversion. I asked myself: What if wealthy Muslims reached out to influential converts who are still alive and provided them with a livelihood in return for directing their efforts toward serving Islamic outreach?
They have an influence that others do not. In this way Islam’s contribution would spread, and those with means would earn a reward. Outreach is a form of striving, spending on it is a form of striving, and those who strive receive a great reward from God.
Let us read together about some who embraced Islam and how they did so, to learn from them the secrets of Islam whose texts we have not reflected on well, but instead pass over in haste.
