He said the injured continued to receive treatment at the provincial public hospital and that their conditions were stable.
Kilis had been hit by numerous rockets fired from Syrian territory in recent days, causing deaths and injuries. The Turkish Armed Forces reinforced their presence on the Turkish–Syrian border beside Kilis after the repeated attacks.
Turkish media sources said four rockets struck Kilis yesterday, Monday. One hit a home occupied by Syrians, killing 4 children and injuring 6 other people.
The sources said the rocket hit a two-story house in a neighborhood of the province, killing the children immediately. All were from the same family.
Kilis Governor Suleyman Tapsiz said the security forces responded against the launch positions and destroyed them immediately.
