Education Ministry spokesman Walid Al-Jallad said the ministry was monitoring weather conditions with the Meteorological Department through a dedicated operations room, preparing an alternative plan if the weather prevented Saturday’s secondary-school examination from taking place.
Speaking on Roya television’s Nabd Al-Balad program, he said any decision to postpone the exam because of weather in one region would be made centrally and apply to every school in Jordan. Saturday’s examination would move to a date after the final day of the official timetable.
He stressed that the ministry would decide and announce its decision early to avoid confusing students, urging them to avoid rumors and obtain news from reliable sources.
