Housing ministers Yasser Abul of Kuwait, Mohamed Salah Arfaoui of Tunisia, Wahy Aman of Yemen, and Ali Kousou Ardi of Libya arrived in Egypt for the first Arab Ministerial Forum on Housing. Held under the title “Arab Urban Development: From Today’s Challenges to Tomorrow’s Horizons,” it would examine urban, economic, social, and environmental challenges facing most Arab countries and seek innovative solutions and effective responses.
The forum aims to raise awareness of sustainable urban development, exchange Arab experience, and present leading examples of best practice in preparing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating housing and urban development plans. It seeks to strengthen regional integration, identify central issues, and connect them with international trends.
