- At 850 watts, these are the most powerful rotary hammers in their class.
- They offer 20 percent more impact energy and motors with 50 watts more power than their predecessors.
- They are the world’s first SDS-plus rotary hammers with active vibration damping.
The forthcoming GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional offer 50 watts more power and 20 percent greater impact energy than previous models, making them the strongest rotary hammers in their class. Vibration has also been reduced by around 30 percent. This is achieved through an active damping system used in SDS-plus rotary hammers for the first time worldwide. A counter-oscillating device in the gearbox continuously opposes the pneumatic and mass forces produced by the hammer mechanism, reducing vibration from 15 m/s² to 11 m/s². Professional users can therefore work with the tools for twice as long as before.
Powerful Tools for Finishing and Installation Work
With impact energy of 3.2 joules, the tools offer leading drilling and chiseling performance in their class. They readily create openings, channels, and rows of holes for applications such as cables and pipes.
Both tools have tried-and-tested features: continuously variable speed control for clean drilling starts, a rotating brush plate providing equal power in forward and reverse, a rotation stop for chiseling, a cable-protection swivel to prevent breaks, and an SDS-plus tool holder. Users can choose the DFV model with an interchangeable chuck or the DV with a fixed chuck.
The GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional rotary hammers will be available from specialist retailers.
