Benghazi, December 31, 2015 (LANA) — UN envoy Martin Kobler is due shortly at al-Abraq International Airport to meet House of Representatives Speaker Aguila Saleh Issa.
Kobler will hold a press conference after the meeting in Shahat and other meetings in the city.
Members of parliament held a consultative meeting last Tuesday and called on their colleagues to attend sessions in Tobruk so that votes and legal decisions could be taken in a parliamentary session with a full quorum.
This is Kobler’s third visit to Libya since taking up his duties in November. On his two previous visits he met parliament, the outgoing congress, the commander-in-chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, and the mayor of Benghazi.
