The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eng. Awatif Al-Ghanim, issued several administrative decisions regarding the assignment, transfer, and appointment of a number of department heads in various sectors. These decisions included assigning Eng. Mai Muhammad Al-Shiha to work as the head of the Networks and Stations Department in the Design Department of the Sanitary Engineering Sector, and Mishal Saad Al-Nabhan to work as the head of the Technical Audit Department in the Contracts Accounting Department of the Supervision and Audit Sector. Sahar Hamed was assigned to work as the head of the Accounting Department in the Planning and Follow-up Office in the Maintenance Engineering Department, and Alaa Youssef was assigned to work as the head of the Financial Audit Department in the Contracts Accounting Department of the Supervision and Audit Sector. Ahmed Al-Omar was appointed as the Director of the Planning Department in the Planning and Development Affairs, and Hamad Abdulaziz Shammou was appointed as the head of the Project Systems Department in the Implementation Department of the Sanitary Engineering Sector, and Ali Muhammad Al-Kazemi was assigned to work as the head of the Supervision Department in the Buildings and Construction Maintenance Department in the Capital Governorate.
The decisions also included the transfer of Amash Al-Rashidi, the head of the Supervision Department in the Roads and Networks Maintenance Department in the Jahra Governorate, to work in the position of head of the Supervision Department in the Roads and Networks Maintenance Department in the Ahmadi Governorate.
On the other hand, a source told “Al-Anbaa” that the Ministry of Public Works will witness other decisions regarding the rotation and confirmation of a number of department heads during the next week. The most prominent of these decisions will be the transfer of the head of the Contracts Department in the Roads Sector, Salah Al-Wahib, to another sector, and Eng. Hala Al-Khashm, the head of the Supporting Services Department in the Roads Sector, to another sector. The position of head of the Design Department in the Sanitary Engineering Sector, which has been vacant for a long time, will also be filled, and Manar Walid will be appointed to the Contracts Department in the Sanitary Engineering Management Sector to fill this position on an interim basis.
The source revealed that the Ministry made this rotation and appointment based on the decisions, regulations, and conditions of the Civil Service Bureau, and priority will be given according to seniority and grade.
