Security sources confirmed that Ahmed al-Ashibat and Abdul Rahman al-Ashoush, aged ten, had been missing since yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, after leaving their family homes in Ghor al-Safi in the Southern Jordan Valley district.
The sources said the children’s families reported their disappearance to the Southern Jordan Valley security station, and Public Security and Civil Defense personnel continued searching for them.
They added that Civil Defense divers had been searching agricultural ponds since the morning amid fears the boys might have drowned in one of them.
